So after trying the chocolate chip mug cake recipe from Sunee App (@sunee on Instagram) and ordering some donut moulds, I had to combine the two to make the ultimate sweet treat!
The best part? Other than fact they taste delicious, they're cooked in the microwave and ready in a few minutes!
Ingredients
*I have made a few changes from the original Sunee recipe but you can mix up the types of flour, chocolate and milk to make it vegan, dairy free, etc.)
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
4 tbsp Plain Flour
2 tbsp Coconut Sugar
2 tbsp Chocolate Protein Powder
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of Salt
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
4 tbsp milk
2 tbsp Chocolate Chips
*some addition chocolate to melt for the topping
Method
Combine all ingredients (other than the chocolate to melt for the topping) and separate into 5/6 of the donut moulds.
They should be just under the top of the mould, they'll rise when microwaved & will overflow (which I learned the first time I made these and filled them up too much)!
Microwave for 90-120 seconds and leave to cool completely.
Once cool, melt the additional chocolate and spread onto the top of the donuts.
